And we're back!

And we're back! The site has been a bit quiet but behind the scenes I've continued to be a busy little TTRPG bee. The Game Master's Book of Instant Towns and Cities hit shelves in the Fall and The Game Master's Book of Legendary Locations is coming along this Summer. If you're picking up Legendary Locations be sure to grab it from Books-A-Million who has their own special edition (with extra content that I wrote!).

I'm moving into late development/early playtesting for two different non-D&D projects. The first is a zany, modern hack of Blades in the Dark called "Aces Wild." We're replacing the traditional d6 pool and stress counter for a deck of playing cards and some poker chips. Each hand encourages the Scoundrels and Dealer to go back and forth, literally upping the ante to activate powerful abilities or introduce new dangers.

​My second project is called "Ghosts in the Dark." It's a true blender of a game, taking favorite elements from Monster of the Week, Blades, Pokemon, Vampire the Masquerade and more to create a game of competing supernatural factions, filled with modular and customizable cryptids, spirits, ghosts and monsters. Select archetypes, traits and abilities to create exactly the supernatural entity of your dreams (or nightmares) and compete with other factions to claim the best territories and resources (namely the human herd you need to feed on).

I've also been continuing our local TTRPG Days and Community Game Nights. We're playing one shots of two different, new TTRPGs every month. Over 3 years we've played 33 new games and I have no plans of stopping. Look forward to some reviews and recommendations coming soon!

And there's lots more awesome stuff coming up that I can't actually go into yet! But look forward to some very exciting new announcements coming in the near future!
